Cast Bios

Paxton Kliewer (Sebastian) is from Bethany, Oklahoma and attended The University of Oklahoma’s Helmerich School of Drama, earning a B.F.A. in drama in 2020. He has appeared as Oberon (Oklahoman tour), Banquo (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Don John (Oklahoma Shakespeare) and Paul Bratter in Neal Simon’s Barefoot in the Park (Jewel Box Theatre).

Tyler John Malinauskas (Feste / Sea Capt. / Officer) is very excited to be a part of his 10th production here at the Oklahoma Shakespeare. Tyler graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2019 and has been living in Oklahoma City ever since. Recent stage roles include Dogberry in OSP’s Much Ado About Nothing (WHICH HE PERFORMED FOR WEEZER), Trevor from Jeff Talbott's The Submission, and John Willoughby in The Jewel Box’s production of Sense & Sensibilities. Recent Film appearances include extra work in Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone and Twisters starring Glen Powell, Hofner from Agent Jade Black, and Justin from As the Village Sleeps. When he's not on stage you may find Tyler taking a walk or praying the Carolina Panthers make it to the playoffs this year with their new rookie QB Bryce Young. Tyler would like to thank his brother Spencer for attending every show, big or small, his parents, Mark and Rita, for spending a lot of money on gas to drive down from Kansas for the 100th time, and finally, he'd like to thank Tyler Woods for keepin him around for the last 4 years. Tyler would like to ask that instead of continuing to read your program in silence, perhaps you take a few minutes to ponder the question:, 'Which would win in a fight, a squirrel or a duck?' Justin Marlow (Duke Orsino) is thrilled to be with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park this Christmas. Justin is from Los Angeles, California, and a recent graduate from The University of Oklahoma with a BFA Theater: Acting emphasis. Most recent University credits include Burn This (Pale) Red Bike (Ensemble), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oberon), Great Expectations (Narrator #2), and Tiny Beautiful Things (Letter Writer #1). OSP Credits: Born with Teeth (Kit Marlowe), A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Tour (Oberon/Flute), Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio), Shakespeare in Love (Lord Wessex/Adam), Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio), Jane Austen’s Christmas Cracker (Cpt. Wentworth), Hamlet (Bernardo/Lucianus Player), Emma (Robert Martin), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Flute/Moth). Ballet credits include The Sleeping Beauty (Catalabutte).

Joshua Murray (Fabian / Curio) is from McKinney, TX and recently graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Acting. He's very excited to perform again and at OSP and loved getting to work with his castmates and is very thankful to have been blessed with getting to know this amazing group of talented actors! Jacey Nichole (Countess Olivia) is an artist from Oklahoma City. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and is attending Graduate School for Psychology. She is delighted and grateful to be making her debut with Oklahoma Shakespeare as Anne Elliot in Jane Austen’s Christmas Cracker. Some of her stage work includes; Macbeth as a Witch (UCO), Hamlet as Ophelia (3rd Act Theatre), and The 39 Steps as Annabella/Margaret/Pamela (UCO). Among her technical positions; Assistant Director of Small Mouth Sounds: a virtual reality film (UCO), Stage Manager (3rd Act; HarveyMisery), Lighting Designer (3rd Act; The Girl with the Green Eyes, Harvey, Damaged Goods), and most recently Assistant Director of The Crucible (Edmond North HS). Jacey gives her gratitude to her loved ones for their support and encouragement.

Dillon J. Rasberry (Sir Andrew Aguecheek) Dillon received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in Edmond and currently serves as the Edmond North high school Director of Theatre Arts. UCO Credits: Rhinoceros (Old Gentleman), Small Mouth Sounds (Jan) and Everybody (Co-Director). Miami Little Theatre Credits: Oklahoma! (Will Parker), Oliver! (The Artful Dodger), and The Sound of Music (Kurt VonTrapp). Oklahoma Shakespeare credits include: Venus in Fur (Stage Manager), Blithe Spirit (Stage Manager), Much Ado About Nothing (Asst. Director) and Shakespeare in Love (Hugh Fennyman). This is his directorial debut with the company. Additionally, Rasberry serves on the Oklahoma Shakespeare Board of Directors. He was last seen in Jewel Box Theatre’s production of The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Peachy Weil) in which he won the Gem Award for best featured actor. Bell Reeves (Viola): Bell is very excited to be a part of Romeo & Juliet at Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park. Her previous collaborations at OSP include Much Ado About Nothing (Hero), Jane Austen's Christmas Cracker (Marianne Dashwood) , Hamlet (Francisco/Player Queen/ Ghost Chorus), Venus in Fur (u/s Vanda), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena). Bell  studied acting at the university of Oklahoma, where she graduated with a BFA in Theatre with an acting emphasis.

Wil Rogers (Malvolio) Last seen as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (OSP), Frank in The Rocky Horror Show at The Boom, and Bob Cratchit in A Territorial Christmas Carol at The Pollard Theatre. Other roles with OSP spanning 19 seasons include Claudius in Hamlet, Bottom in Midsummer, Willoughby in Sense & Sensibility, and Lady Davenant, et al in Or, Benedick, Mercutio, Oberon, Rev. Dimmesdale, Antony, Scrooge, d'Artagnan, and many others. He also directed and acted in Cmplt Wrks of Shkspr (Abridged) at OSP in '14 and '16.  Other directing credits include Barefoot in the Park, Godspell, and Into the Woods.  Favorite roles include ASH in Evil Dead:The Musical, Freddy in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps - all for Pollard Theatre, Mitch in The Little Dog Laughed, John Adams in 1776 for Lyric Interactive, and Frank in The Rocky Horror Show.  He has studied Theatre and Music Theatre at the University of Central OK, has written, directed, and acted in over 40 productions for Oklahoma Children's Theatre and Camp Chaverim, and has many voice-over, film, and commercial credits.

Lindsey Rollins (Maria) is thrilled to be spending another Christmas with Oklahoma Shakespeare. Recent credits include The Wonder (3rd Act Theater); Romeo & Juliet,  Jane Austen’s A Christmas Cracker (2022/2019), Hamlet, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Sense & Sensibility, and A Midsummer Nights Dream (Oklahoma Shakespeare); Matilda the musical (KidsAlive! Theater); Beauty & the Beast (Sooner Theater); The Addams Family: A New Musical (2022/2018), King Lear, Little Women: the Musical (Rose State College); Fiddler One the Roof (El Reno Community Theater); Is He Dead? (Carpenter Square Theater), Aïda, Madame Butterfly, and Carmen (Tulsa Opera). She is an associate professor of voice at Rose State College and holds degrees in Vocal and Opera Performance from the University of Miami and Southern Nazarene University. Her proudest role is daughter, aunt of her niece and two nephews, and mom to her canine true love, Bullwinkle. Lindsey would like to dedicate her performance to her father, Joe Rollins.

David Weber (Sir Toby Belch) is extremely grateful to have met these players and this artistic community. He is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and has an MFA in Acting and Theatre Pedagogy from California State University Long Beach where he studied acting under the direction of Alexandra Billings, Hugh O’Gorman, Ezra LeBank, Dr. Shanti Pillai, and Andrea Caban.  Next up he is performing his one-man Christmas Carol, “An Actor’s Carol: One clown’s Dickensian marathon towards redemption” on tour in Atlanta, Chicago, Rockford, Seattle, Dallas, and Los Angeles this December.  He is currently an Assistant Professor of Performance at Oklahoma State University. www.davidrweber.com

Production Crew Bios

Lloyd Cracknell (Costume Design) originally from Cambridge, England, is the associate professor of Costume Design and resident Costume Designer at the University of Oklahoma. Lloyd’s career includes both costume and fashion design, working for prestigious design houses including The Emanuels and Versace. Lloyd’s designs have been seen in London, New York, Paris, Milan, and South America. He was invited to exhibit his costume designs at the World Creativity Forum in Cardiff, Wales in 2010. Lloyd has costume designed in all genres of the performing arts, including  drama, opera, classical ballet, modern dance and musical theatre. He has designed costumes for over a hundred productions, including over forty for OU’s University Theatre. Highlights include: The Pearl Fishers (Reimagined); Grand Hotel The Musical; Swan Lake Act II; Harlinquinade; The Nutcracker; Falstaff; Gianni Schicchi; Is he Dead?; Mary Stuart; and the U.S.A. premiere of Let the Right One In. Awards for Professor Cracknell include the USITT-SW Oscar Brockett Teaching Award (2023), the Irene and Julian. J Rothbaum Professor of Excellence in the Arts Award (2020), and the USITT-SW Mildred and Glen Martin Jr. Award for Outstanding Service. Other awards and nominations include: DFW Theatre Critics Forum Award-Best Design Team for a Season (2015, 2017); Theatre Jones Best Costume Design Runner-up Award (2015); Kennedy Center American College Theater Award (2010), Region VI National Partners in American Theatre KCACTF Award (2010). In 2021, Lloyd received the Broadway World Oklahoma Award for Best Costume Design of a Play or Musical (Professional) for Pride and Prejudice (Oklahoma Shakespeare).

Kathryn McGill (Director) holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and directing from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Fine Arts in acting from New York University. She co-founded Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park with the late Jack O'Meara in 1985. She has directed over 40 productions including Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Richard III, Macbeth, As You Like It, Cyrano de Bergerac and Much Ado About Nothing. She also directed The Rivals for Oklahoma City University and co-founded the Detroit Women's Shakespeare Project and played the title role in their production of Henry V. In 1990 she was a recipient of a Governor’s Arts award from the State of Oklahoma.

Karam Alkhatib (Stage Manager) is very excited to be working with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park this holiday season! He is an actor from Tulsa, OK with a BFA Acting degree from Oklahoma City University. University credits include Black Girl, Interrupted (Sidney) & My Dearest Partner of Greatness (MacBeth). Over the summer, he performed in Shakespeare in Love (Ralph), Romeo and Juliet (Paris), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius). He would like to thank his family and his partner Abigail for their constant love and support.

Clara Wiebe (she/her) (Lighting Design) is a Lighting Designer who is passionate about storytelling through the expression of color and form. She enjoys painting and sees lighting as an extension of that art form coming to life. She has been honored to be a co recipient of KC/ACTF National Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for her Woe Is Me lighting design. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Clara has worked with a diverse group of artists and directors. She interned as an Assistant Lighting Designer for LA Opera’s 2017-19 seasons. She received her Associate of Arts and Emerging Theatre Technology certificate at Citrus College. Then after achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from Oklahoma City University, with an emphasis in Lighting Design and Technology. (clarawiebe.com)
