“Shakespeare Made Clear”

The OSP Shakespeare Lab brings the craft of classical theatre directly into classrooms and community spaces across Oklahoma City. Through movement, voice, and collaborative exploration, students discover that Shakespeare isn’t “Old English,” confusing, or boring — it’s active, human, and surprisingly fun. When students get the text on its feet, Shakespeare finally clicks.

Our approach is simple: When students move, speak, and play with Shakespeare’s words, the text becomes clear.

THE OSP SHAKESPEARE LAB

What We Do

The Shakespeare Lab offers flexible, high‑impact workshops and residencies for students of all ages. Each session blends physical storytelling, approachable text work, and performance techniques used by professional actors. Our teaching artists guide students through Shakespeare’s language in ways that feel immediate, relevant, and clear.

We bring all necessary materials with us — props, scene excerpts, and activity tools — so any classroom can become a rehearsal room.

Workshop & Residency Options
