Indoor Theatre

Rehearsals: $40/hr (3‑hour minimum) Rehearsal rentals are turn‑key and do not include on‑site OSP staff. Clients are responsible for basic care of the space and for returning it to its original condition at the end of the rental. OSP may require staffed oversight for rehearsals involving large groups, complex activity, or any use that presents elevated operational or safety considerations. Damage, misuse, or failure to restore the space may result in repair or replacement fees.

• Stage Performances & Film Shoots: $500 for 4 hours; $150/hr additional

• Daily Rental (8a–midnight): $1,000

• Weekly Rental (Mon–Sun): $3,500

Shakespeare Gardens

If you’re looking for a wedding venue with personality, heart, and a little bit of magic, our spaces offer a beautiful canvas for your day. From the glow of the Indoor Theatre to the open‑air charm of the Shakespeare Gardens, your celebration becomes part of the story of this place.

• Day‑of / Ceremony: $4,000 for 8:00a–midnight

• Additional Hours (rehearsal, setup, load‑out): $175/hr

Includes dressing rooms, the Mermaid Tavern & Lounge, and both theatres. Includes one client/wedding‑planner meeting; additional meetings are available at $25/hour.

Included in Rental Fee at No Additional Charge

• Basic lighting and sound systems in both venues

Available for an additional fee:

• Wireless mics: $50/day each mic ($250 minimum) - will require at least one OSP approved technician at $35/hr (4-hour minimum)

All OSP equipment is provided on a replacement‑value liability basis. Any OSP equipment that is damaged, lost, or rendered unusable during the rental period will be repaired or replaced at the Client’s expense.

Bar Service

Bar service is operated exclusively by OSP at its discretion. If an event does not meet the threshold for dedicated bar service, the Client may request staffed bar service at a rate of $20/hour per bartender (minimum 5 hours) with a $1,000 sales minimum.

Catering

Clients must use a licensed catering company for all food service. Clients may not provide their own beverages, alcoholic or non‑alcoholic.

Décor & Furniture

Venue-installed furniture—including theatre seating, patio tables and chairs, and Mermaid Tavern furnishings—is included with all rentals. Additional event furniture, décor, linens, or seating may be rented separately from an approved, accredited rental company.

To maintain a safe and professional environment, OSP provides licensed, insured security for events expecting more than 125 attendees. Security is arranged by OSP and billed to the renter as part of the rental invoice. Events under 125 attendees typically do not require security unless the nature of the event presents elevated risk.

• Host liquor liability required if alcohol is served

• Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (OSP) must be listed as Certificate Holder and Additional Insured

• Certificate of Insurance due 10 days prior to the rental date

• 25% deposit required to reserve

• Full payment due 7 days before the rental date

• One (1) pre‑planning meeting of up to one hour is included with each rental; additional planning or coordination meetings are $25/hour and will be added to the Client’s invoice
