A Day with Shakespeare invites students to experience a full‑length, professionally produced Shakespeare performance — the same staging and artistic quality audiences enjoy in our Shakespeare Gardens. This immersive two‑hour event gives young people the chance to encounter Shakespeare’s language, characters, and conflicts in a dynamic, accessible, and unforgettable way.

Designed with teachers in mind, this program supports ELA curriculum, enhances classroom study, and helps students connect deeply with one of Shakespeare’s most frequently taught plays.

What to Expect

  • Full‑length performance of Julius Caesar (approximately 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)

  • Professional cast and creative team from Oklahoma Shakespeare

  • Curriculum‑aligned experience ideal for middle school and high school ELA and theatre classes

  • Optional talkback with cast and creative team immediately following the show

  • Teacher resources available to support pre‑ and post‑show discussion

Small Group & Homeschool/Co‑Op Attendance Policy (1–10 Students)

To keep our matinee logistics running smoothly, groups bringing 1–10 students are welcome to attend as walk‑ups. No advance reservation or invoice is required.

How it works:

  • Simply arrive the morning of the performance.

  • Check in at the front table.

  • Payment can be made on site for the number of students who attend.

  • Seating is provided based on availability once reserved school groups are placed.

This approach allows us to plan accurately for large groups while still welcoming smaller classes, co‑ops, and homeschool families without the pressure of early commitments or paperwork.

Large Group Reservation Policy (11+ Students)

Groups bringing 11 or more students should reserve seats in advance so we can plan staffing, seating, and materials.

Large group reservations require:

  • A confirmed student count by the stated deadline

  • An invoice issued prior to the performance

  • Payment by check or card before or on the day of the show

Reserved groups receive priority seating and guaranteed space.

Reserve Your Seats

Registration is now open for school groups, homeschool networks, and community organizations. You may reserve seats using your best estimate of student attendance. After submitting this form, you’ll receive a payment link where you can submit your program fee based on the number of students you’ve registered.

This helps us plan staffing and scheduling while keeping the process simple for your group.
