Bios

Adam Troy Atkins (Sound & Microphone Technician) is a theatrical technician, scenic painter, set constructor, and overall jack-of-all-trades, contributing his expertise to shows including Charlie’s Aunt (Jewel Box Theatre), 12 Angry Jurors (3rd Act Theatre Company), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Inherit the Wind (3rd Act Theatre Company), Shakespeare in Love (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Misery (3rd Act Theatre Company), Much Ado About Nothing (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Little Shop of Horrors (Center Stage Theatre), Into the Woods (KMC Onstage), and Young Frankenstein (KMC Onstage). Adam Troy's proficiency also extends to stage managing, sound technician, light board operator, and properties, showcasing his exceptional organizational skills and technical prowess. With an unwavering passion for theatre, he continues to make a significant impact on and off the stage, collaborating seamlessly with his talented wife, Brittany, and playing a vital role in the success of unforgettable productions.

Elin Bhaird (Gertrude) appeared as Beatrice in A Servant of Two Masters in OSP’s first fall season in 1985.  Then 20 years later as Mrs. Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor.  Now 19 years later she is thrilled to be back on the stage working with Tyler and the amazing cast of Hamlet.  Don’t look for her back in 2044.  Other acting credits include Pollard Theatre - Joann in Company, Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire, Eleanor in The Lion in Winter and Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly!   Reduxion Theatre - Mrs Lovett in Sweeny Todd and Fraulein Schnider in Cabaret.   She most recently appeared at Carpenter Square Theatre as Emily Penrose in Lifespan of a Fact.  Other CST credits include Miss Mona in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Changin’ Lanes as Arlene, Six Women with Brain and Rocky Horror 2, 3 & 4. She retired in 2021 from Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, where she served as Artistic Director for 25 years.

Ian Clinton (Marcellus, Cornelius, Rosencrantz) recently appeared as Duncan/Porter/Doctor in Macbeth with Oklahoma Shakespeare.  Some of his favorite roles include Dr. Watson (and others) in A Sherlock Carol (3rd Act Theatre); Leopold in The Agony and the Agony (Carpenter Square Theatre); Pistol in Henry V, Borachio/Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, Edward Ferrars in Sense and Sensibility, Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night (Reduxion Theatre); Sam in In the Heat of the Night, Giles in The Mousetrap (Oklahoma City Theatre Company); Terry in Still Life (Ghostlight Theatre).  Other previous credits include: Inherit the Wind, Outward Bound, Damaged Goods, Dangerous Liaisons, As You Like It, Tom Jones, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Richard III, Lives of the Saints, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, Measure for Measure, Julius Caesar, and The Three Musketeers.

Sarah Filek (Ophelia) (she/they) is an actor, director, and teaching artist from Vancouver, Canada. A recent graduate from Oklahoma City University, she is so excited to make her Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park debut! Recent credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena), The Life of Galileo (Chancellor/others), and Julius Caesar (Brutus). Alix Golden (Asst. Stage Manager) is delighted to be working with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park again. She was last seen at OSP as Peter Quince/Fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream and as Queen Elizabeth/Nurse in Shakespeare in Love. Thanks to Tyler, cast and crew!

Paxton Kliewer (Laertes, Player Villain) is from Bethany, Oklahoma. He has received a BFA in Acting from The Helmerich School of Drama at The University of Oklahoma. His recent credits include Sebastian-Twelfth Night, Oberon/Theseus- A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Banquo- Macbeth, all at Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park.

Kris Kuss (Combat Choreography) (he/him) is a director, fight director, intimacy choreographer, actor, and educator based in Bethany, OK. He holds his MFA in Directing from the University of Southern Mississippi and is the Associate Professor of Movement at Oklahoma City University. He is a Recognized Full Instructor and Governing Body President of Dueling Arts International. He has worked with Oklahoma Shakespeare in several capacities; as an actor in Twelfth Night and The Tempest, as director for Romeo & Juliet and the touring company of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and fight director for numerous productions including Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet. A proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, he has served as fight director and intimacy choreographer at Lyric Theatre for A Play That Goes WrongThe Sound of Music, and Newsies, at OKC Rep for Vietgone, at Painted Sky Opera for Carmen and Pagliacci, at 3rd Act Theatre Co for Medusa UndoneHamlet, and The Wonder, and most frequently at OCU—directing Dracula: a Feminist Revenge FantasyAda & the EngineEnron, and staging fights and intimacy for such productions as MarisolIn the Heights, and She Kills Monsters.

Madeline Lewis (Lighting Design) (she/her) is a Lighting Designer and Stage Manager from Bartlesville, OK. She is a rising junior in the OU Helmerich School of Drama with an emphasis in Lighting design. Recent Lighting Design credits include: OU Dance Summer Intensive ‘24, Mac Beth (OU School of Drama), Shrek the Musical (Bartlesville Public Schools). Recent Stage Management credits include: Young Choreographers Showcase ‘24 (OU University Theatre), Heathers (Assoc. SM, OU University Theatre), Susannah (Assoc. SM, OU University Theatre). She is very excited for her first production with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park.

Aaron Michael (Bernardo, Player King, Priest, Fortinbras) has been acting in theater, film, and voice for over a decade. Over the past few years his focus has been directed toward voice over as an audiobook narrator and playing a wide range of characters in the anime world, airing on Cartoon Network through Crunchyroll studios. You can find him on titles such as My Hero Academia, One Piece, Solo Leveling, and most recently he is performing as series antagonist Julius Reinberg on Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Aaron has performed with Shakespeare in the Park previously in their Jane Austen productions, as Jaques in As You Like It, and is thrilled to be back in his first performance of Hamlet!

Joshua Murray (Hamlet) is from McKinney, TX and recently graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Acting. He's very excited to perform again and at OSP and loved getting to work with his cast mates, and is very thankful to have been blessed with getting to know this amazing group of talented actors! Scarlett Patiño (Stage Manager) (she/her) is excited to be stage managing with Oklahoma Shakespeare for the second time this season. Originally from San Antonio, she earned a Theater and Business dual degree from Trinity University. Recent production stage management credits include: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park), Amsterdam (Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma), On Golden Pond (Jewelbox Theatre), Kodachrome (Carpenter Square Theatre), Sesame Street Parade (SeaWorld San Antonio), and Ragtime (Wonder Theatre). She would like to thank her mom for making her take theater as an elective in middle school.

Bell Reeves (Asst. Director, Intimacy Coordinator, Marketing) is an Oklahoma based actor, and founding member of the Emerging Artists Collective. She is passionate about Theatre's ability to ignite change and foster impactful conversation.  Originally from Houston, Bell graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an Acting Emphasis Some of her OSP credits include Twelfth Night (Viola) Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Much Ado about Nothing (Hero),and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena).

David Weber (Claudius, Ghost) is an Artistic Associate with Oklahoma Shakespeare and was last seen here as Sir Toby Belch in last season’s production of 12th Night. He is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and has an MFA in Acting from California State University Long Beach where he studied acting pedagogy under the direction of Alexandra Billings, Hugh O’Gorman, Ezra LeBank, Dr. Shanti Pillai, and Andrea Caban.  Look out for him in his one-man Christmas Carol, “An Actor’s Carol: One clown’s Dickensian marathon towards redemption” touring nationally this November and December.  He is an Assistant Professor of Performance at Oklahoma State University #gopokes www.davidrweber.com

Anwen Marta-Knoedler Wenger (Costume Design) (she/they) is a Costume, Hair & Makeup Designer from Norman, OK. She is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama; Costume Design Emphasis. Recent Costume, Hair & Makeup Design credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Everybody (University of Oklahoma School of Drama), Susannah (University of Oklahoma School of Music; co-design with Jylian Humber), and Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (University of Oklahoma School of Musical Theatre). Recent Hair & Makeup Design credits include The Nutcracker (University of Oklahoma School of Dance) and Heathers: the Musical (University of Oklahoma School of Musical Theatre).

Mike Waugh (Polonius, Gravedigger, Captain, Osric) has been working locally and regionally as an actor for the last 30 years. Representative roles include: Dr. Alan Grant in The Booms’ production of Dragsic Park. John Dashwood in Sense & Sensibility at Jewel Box Theatre. Bob Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird (Sorkin script) at Oklahoma City University. George in Of Mice and Men at the old OKC Theatre Company. Denny in A Steady Rain and Angus in The Drawer Boy at Carpenter Square Theatre. Gordon in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie in an equity production at The Phoenix Theatre in Arizona. Henry in Henry V, Bottom in Midsummer and Touchstone in As You Like It at Oklahoma Shakes.

Corey Whaley (Horatio) is excited to be returning to OSP after having lived in Dallas for many years. Previously, Corey has worked with OSP in productions of All’s Well That Ends Well, As You Like It, Comedy of Errors, Julius Caesar, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Macbeth, Merry Wives of Windsor, Much Ado About Nothing, Pericles, Taming of the Shrew, Tempest, Titus Andronicus, and Winter’s Tale (and some of these more than once). However, this is his first Hamlet! Since returning to OKC last fall, Corey has also appeared as King Arthur in Spamalot at The Pollard Theatre, and as Professor Plum in Clue at Carpenter Square Theatre.

Erin Woods (Graphic Design) is a director, playwright, actress, and graphic designer with over 25 years’ experience in Oklahoma Theatre and beyond. Directing credits include Art for Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Uncle Vanya for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, and Pride and Prejudice, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, Hamlet, Sense and Sensibility, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Women, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses for Reduxion Theatre Company. As a playwright, Erin has written adaptations of Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Tom Jones, and a holiday play often produced by Oklahoma Shakespeare: Jane Austen’s Christmas Cracker.
