2026 SUMMER SEASON AUDITIONS: THE TEMPEST AND JULIUS CAESAR
BEFORE YOU AUDITION
Auditioning for Oklahoma Shakespeare means joining a clear, well‑structured, and collaborative process. Please review all information on this page carefully so you can determine whether this season’s schedule and expectations align with your availability. We appreciate artists who take the time to do this in advance.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT
Actors must be fully available for all listed rehearsal and performance dates for any production they audition for. Due to the collaborative nature of our process, we are unable to accommodate individual scheduling conflicts, conditional availability, or partial participation. Please review all dates carefully before selecting an audition slot.
GENERAL AUDITION EXPECTATIONS
Please arrive on time—preferably early—and prepared to engage the process with professionalism.
Bring a separate printed headshot and résumé, attached to one another, for each production you’re auditioning for.
Prepare two contrasting monologues, each approximately one minute in length, with at least one from Shakespeare. All material must be fully memorized.
Dress with intention and in a manner that supports the role you’re seeking.
While waiting, please maintain a quiet, focused environment out of respect for the work happening in the room.
Audition slots are limited and reserved for artists who are prepared to show up, honor their scheduled time, and work at a professional standard. We expect all auditionees to demonstrate clarity, respect, and readiness throughout the process.
All auditions must be completed in person. Video submissions are not accepted, and requests for video auditions will not be considered.
All roles receive a fixed stipend in recognition of the time and work involved. Stipends are set in advance, not negotiable, and are intended to support participation in the production; they do not constitute wages or an employment relationship.
SIGN‑UP INSTRUCTIONS
Audition slots are 3 minutes and run back‑to‑back. Please select one slot and arrive early.
