Cast Bios

Kayleigh Adams (Starveling/Fairy) is an Oklahoma City University alumna from Las Vegas, NV. Some of her recent credits include Good for Her by Bell Reeves, Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, and Science Live! at Science Museum Oklahoma. Kayleigh also works on local films, most notably and recently: Katie Hightower’s debut feature, Hailey’s Game as Hailey, which has just had its world premiere at the deadCenter Film Festival. She would like to thank her friends (Boomer Sooner!) for giving her a home and for inspiring her to make Oklahoma a better place, as well as her father, may he rest in peace, for having believed in her unconditionally.

Olivia Akers (She/Her) (Helena/Fairy) is a BFA Acting major at Oklahoma City University originally from Cambridge Illinois. Recent credits include Be Aggressive, Dracula: A Feminist Retelling, and Othello. Special thanks to her family and friends for supporting her throughout this process. Faites bien votre part.

Thomas Chavira (Bottom) is an actor/educator/producer from Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a BFA from Abilene Christian University, an MFA in Acting the University of Southern California (Fight On!), and an MFA in Performance Pedagogy from Loyola Marymount University. He has performed in theatres all across Southern California and his Film/TV credits include SHAMELESS and the feature film BENEATH US.

As a producer, his work has nominations and wins from the L.A. Stage Alliance (Ovation awards for Best Production of an Intimate Theatre - 33 Variations and Violet). Other production credits include Dancing at LughnasaThe Man Who Came to DinnerThe Voysey InheritanceSpinning Into Butter, and The Sweetest Swing in Baseball.

As an educator, Thomas is interested in the expanding the work of French theatre practitioner Jacques Lecoq along with highlighting and examining Hispanic and Latino authors. Thomas is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, and the National Alliance of Acting Teachers.

Bellah Crawford (Puck/Philostrate) is a creative artist based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance with a double minor in Creative Writing and English from The University of Central Oklahoma and is currently obtaining her MFA in Acting from The University of Arkansas. Her most recent credits include Winnifred in Witch (Univ. of Arkansas), Mckenna in Good for Her (Co.llective Arts Productions), and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (Univ. of Central Oklahoma). She is excited to be making her Oklahoma Shakespeare debut!

Alix Golden (Peter Quince/Fairy) is so excited to be a part of this production! Alix appeared as Queen Elizabeth and the nurse in last season's Shakespeare in Love. Other recent credits include Inherit the Wind (3rd Act Theatre Company), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Jewel Box Theatre), and Fairytale Farms (Storyteller Theatre). Paxton Kliewer (Sebastian) is from Bethany, Oklahoma and attended The University of Oklahoma’s Helmerich School of Drama, earning a B.F.A. in drama in 2020. He has appeared as Oberon (Oklahoman tour), Banquo (Oklahoma Shakespeare), Don John (Oklahoma Shakespeare) and Paul Bratter in Neal Simon’s Barefoot in the Park (Jewel Box Theatre).

Denton Meehan (Flute/Fairy) is currently an Acting Student at Oklahoma City University. He is from Kansas City, MO. His recent credits include She Stoops to ConquerBellwether, The Play that Goes Wrong, W;t, and The Normal Heart. Special thanks to family, friends, and a very special thank you to Ian Van Horn.  

Jimmy Pike (Egeus/Snout) is exited to be back again this summer. He was seen last year as Friar/Antonio/Verges in Much Ado About Nothing. Other Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park credits include Snug/Lion, Lennox/Bloody Sergeant, Carbon de Castel-Jaloux, Slender, and Martius Andronicus. Other favorite roles include King Midas in Metamorphosis and Benedick with UCO, Petruchio with BACP, and Peter/Boy in Peter and the Starcatcher and Duke Theseus with Theatre Tulsa. “The sunset is spectacular and beautiful, but those qualities are diminished if all sunsets are spectacular and beautiful.” - Don Delillo

Taylor Reich (Snug/Fairy) Taylor is thrilled to be a part of this production.  Taylor has a degree in Theatre Arts: Performance from UCO and has been seen at different theaters across the metro. Favorite roles include Dom Claude Frollo in "Hunchback of Notre Dame",  Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey" and Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof".  Love to my family.

Abigail Schmitz (Hermia/Fairy) is an Oklahoma local who works as an actor, educator, dramaturg, and director. This is Abigail's sixth season with OSP. Her previous credits with the company include Shakespeare in Love (Viola de Lesseps), Richard the III (Princess Elizabeth/Queen Anne US), The Revolutionists (dramaturg/ASM), The Taming of the Shrew (dramaturg), Romeo and Juliet (dramaturg). Abigail is an OU alumnus with a BFA in dramaturgy and performance. Abigail has various other professional credits following her time in university where she served in roles as a production dramaturg, teaching artist, actor, and director for theaters across the country that include Urban Bastard Collective, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Bay Area Playwright's Festival, Jewish Play Project, Redtwist Theater, and GreatWorks Theater. Abigail is leaving OKC after this summer to move to Ontario, Canada to pursue new theatrical and life experiences. She would like to thank her partner Matt, her friends, and family, and her wonderful colleagues and mentors who have supported her so far.

Tiffany Tuggle (Hippolyta/Titania) is enchanted to be returning to the OSP stage. She was here last summer as Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, and previously as Mopsa in The Winter's Tale, as well as tours for Midsummer and Christmas Carol. She was recently seen at The Boom as Brenda in The First Wives Club, and Janet in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Other roles include Marianne in Sense & Sensibility, Velma Kelly in Chicago, Meg in Leading Ladies (Jewel Box), Christmas Past in Territorial Christmas Carol, Carol in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Mrs. Santiago in Ghost: The Musical, Carla in In the Heights, Serina in Legally Blonde (Pollard Theatre), Medusa in Medusa Undone, Sime in 1984 (3rd Act), Anita in The Agony and the Agony, Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Ensemble in Reefer Madness at Carpenter Square Theatre, , and Fleta in Iolanthe at Cimarron Opera. She also has been involved in the Native American New Play Festival for 9 years. Tiffany holds her BA in Theatre. Many thanks to Wil and Liam for their love and support.

Production Crew Bios

Brittany Atkins (Asst. Stage Manager) is happy to be back at OSP with another show to assist. stage manage!  She has previously worked behind the scenes as assistant stage manager and props manager at Oklahoma Shakespeare, contributing to shows such as "Romeo and Juliet" and "Much Ado about Nothing." Just recently she stage managed "Inherit the Wind" at 3rd Act where she has done set design and painting for productions like "Misery" and "Gilligan’s Island the Musical.” Brittany's dedication has earned her recognition with 3rd Act Company’s Technical Genius Award. During her time in Germany, she explored directing with "Into the Woods" at KMC Onstage, garnering multiple US Army Entertainment TOPPERs Awards, including Best Set Design.

Anwen Marta-Knoedler Wenger (she/they) (Costume Design) is a Costume, Hair & Makeup Designer from Norman, OK. She is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama; Costume Design Emphasis. Recent Costume, Hair & Makeup Design credits include Everybody (University of Oklahoma School of Drama), Susannah (University of Oklahoma School of Music; co-design with Jylian Humber), and Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (University of Oklahoma School of Musical Theatre). Recent Hair & Makeup Design credits include The Nutcracker (University of Oklahoma School of Dance) and Heathers: the Musical (University of Oklahoma School of Musical Theatre). Anwen is thrilled to make their post-grad design debut with Oklahoma Shakespeare.

Scarlett Patiño (she/her) (Stage Manager) is excited to be stage managing with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park for the first time. Originally from San Antonio, she earned a Theater and Business dual degree from Trinity University. Recent production stage management credits include Amsterdam (Jewish Theatre of Oklahoma), On Golden Pond (Jewel Box Theatre), Kodachrome (Carpenter Square Theatre), Sesame Street Parade (SeaWorld San Antonio), and Ragtime (Wonder Theatre). She would like to thank her mom for making her take theater as an elective in middle school.

Clara Wiebe (she/her) (Lighting Design) is a Lighting Designer who is passionate about storytelling through the expression of color and form. She enjoys painting and sees lighting as an extension of that art form coming to life. She has been honored to be a co recipient of KC/ACTF National Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for her Woe Is Me lighting design. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Clara has worked with a diverse group of artists and directors. She interned as an Assistant Lighting Designer for LA Opera’s 2017-19 seasons. She received her Associate of Arts and Emerging Theatre Technology certificate at Citrus College. Then after achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from Oklahoma City University, with an emphasis in Lighting Design and Technology. (clarawiebe.com)

Erin Woods (Director) is a director, playwright, actress, and graphic designer with over 25 years’ experience in Oklahoma Theatre and beyond. Directing credits include Art for Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Uncle Vanya for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, and Pride and Prejudice, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, Hamlet, Sense and Sensibility, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Women, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses for Reduxion Theatre Company. As a playwright, Erin has written adaptations of Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Tom Jones, and a holiday play often produced by Oklahoma Shakespeare: Jane Austen’s Christmas Cracker.
